The CAF External Services department boasts a department which specializes in extensive intervention (both corrective and preventive) for various types of rail equipment. We currently boast workshops specialising in: Diesel engines Any type of complete Carbody/Bogie (including high speed bogies and those developed by CAF): Tilting and BRAVA variable gauge) We also possess workshops with the capacity and experience to carry out extensive large scale overhauls on rail vehicles. (From Rs to half life interventions). Actions on the vehicle, reception, dismantling, assembly and tests are performed at the workshop itself, whilst equipment with specific requirements are sent to specialist workshops. The services provided by this department, for any of the equipment involved, includes: Work team practical training courses. “Turn key” delivery of comlete workshops with the capacity to execute these interventions at the customer’s facilities, including the technical training of the local group.
